I've been starring at this page for about half an hour.
You're first ever blog post, is always the hardest, right? hmm.
I guess I should talk about my day & what has effected me - I think.
I had a day off from college, due to my lack of sleep from the night before (I blame my best friend and skype). It was a pretty average day, didn't do much in the way of work or anything productive, but I suppose that's just normal for teenagers, like the media say.
Speaking about the media, I was touched by the latest news of those Belgium children and teachers who were caught in that accident. It was honorific. When the news came through, I was sitting with my mum, I wanted to cry. I thought about what I would do if I had family on that bus - The answer to that is, I don't know. I always think about these things, never have a true answer, people will think i'm silly or over reacting. I suppose, I would just cry it out, mourn, what else can people do?
It is sad when people get taken away from here, they had so much energy, and life to give. The world needs it. We all need energy. It reminded me of an old friend who died, not that long ago in a car accident, I was utterly shocked by the news, and I immediately found myself burying out old pictures from discs seeing if I could find one of me and her at cadets. I was successful, but not in a good way. I thought about how bouncy she was, and now the thought of her being gone was awful. I believe everything happens for a reason, Im not sure what the reason is for her death, or the children on the coach. I like to think it was a very good reason though, because nothing is really worth a life. Is it?
I just realised how depressing this all is, im tired. So i'm going to think of a more cheery subject tomorrow!
byebye.
My thoughts go out to Annabelles family, and the families to those of the children and teachers. RIP♥
